Screen not updatingMemory and storageContact supportDownload TapSignage Manager on your phone. On your TV or playback device, download the free TapSignage Player from its app store. Open Player to display a QR code, then scan it with Manager to link the screen.
Upload images or videos from Manager or Web Manager, arrange them into a playlist, adjust fit or rotation, and publish to the linked screen.
Create separate playlists for menus, promotions, announcements, and events. Reorder media, set durations, and assign each playlist to one or more screens.
Schedule playlists to change automatically on selected days and times—for Taco Tuesday, special events, weekend promotions, daily opening hours, or seasonal campaigns.
After content synchronizes, supported players can continue displaying cached media without Wi-Fi. The player needs connectivity for initial setup and future updates. Offline capacity depends on free local storage, video size, codec, and device.
Any display with HDMI can use an external player with Wi-Fi. Android TV and Google TV are currently the best starting points. Google TV Streamer offers 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage; onn. 4K Pro lists 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Fire TV requires manual app launch, Amazon Signage Stick requires CMS partner approval, Roku is in development, and Samsung Tizen/LG webOS are TBD by exact model.
Review supported devicesRAM helps the player decode video and render the screen. Storage holds the operating system, apps, and cached media. A device may stream a large video while online but lack enough free space to cache it for offline playback. Use efficient video formats and test the complete playlist on the exact hardware.
Confirm Player is open, the screen is linked, the playlist is assigned, and the device is online. Reconnect supported players so pending changes can sync.
